Constable Debby came to visit us to talk about making good choices as part of our Kia Kaha topic. We learnt about using our WITS when we have a problem with someone- we can walk away, ignore, talk about it, seek help. We never solve a problem by using our hands or feet. We listened to some stories about some people who made bad choices and we thought of ways they could help so they turned the bad choices into good choices. It was awesome having Constable Debby visit. We loved her uniform and she was so friendly!

Butterfly magic....
Our very hungry caterpillars have had their sleep and on Sunday while Mrs Kearns was busy in her office she noticed something magical. The butterflies emerged from their chrysalis and spread their wings. They were wondering where all the room 2 stars were... so they stretched their wings and flew away.... We've been spotting butterflies in the playground! I bet they'll come back to see us!

Reporter News Ryder and Jordan

This week Ryder and Jordan shared their news. Ryder showed us his Iron Man. He talked to us and we all wanted to play with him. We then all put on Iron Man voices. Jordan showed us his amazing transporter Lego that he got for his birthday. Jordan is a Lego expert and he loves it. We liked how the doors opened and the plane could fly off the truck. Brilliant reports today Ryder and Jordan!Welcome to Room 2 Indie
Welcome to Belfast School and to Room 2 Indie. Indie had her first day at school on Wednesday. Indie is such a star. She is an amazing artist and is already reading books and writing stories. She is making lots of friends and we love hearing her amazing thoughts. We are so lucky to have you in Room 2!
Sea Week Chalk Art

After the parade we turned the concrete outside the Junior Learning Centre into a ocean filled with fish, mermaids, boats and all things oceanie. It was so much fun and we were amazing artists!
