Room 2s pets

Today we were very excited. Our very hungry caterpillar had turned into a crysalis and now we can see its turning into a butterfly.  The wings are looking amazing.  We hope they last until Monday!

Room 2 takes a trip to Belfast Kindy

We had a great time visiting our friends at kindy. We met up with old friends, explored all the exciting things at kindy and  we met up with our friends who are starting school soon. We loved playing in the tree house, on the bars and swings.  There was so much to do! We're looking forward to having the kindy kids coming to visit us! We can't wait for Monique, Maria and Levi to start in Room 2 too!

Sea Week Fun

This week we read a book called "What the tides brings in". Karen, one of our amazing teacher aides who loves visiting Room 2,  brought some of her ocean treasures to show us. We listened to the ocean with her shells and investigated some precious shells too- we looked at paua shells, an amazing conch and lots of pretty shells. They were beautiful! Thanks Karen! They made our story come alive!!!!!!

Sport with Arne

We had a great time learning new games with Arne. We had to listen carefully to the instructions to learn how to play all the games.  We had to run and work as a team to collect the cones.  We love sportvwith Arne!

Welcome to school Quinn

Quinn has started in Room 2. She has made lots of new friends and she has met up with old friends from preschool.  She loves reading and playing and likes Disney Princesses.  She is our class milk monitor and has made a great start to school.

Reporter News with Emily

Emily shared a hedgehog that she had made. It was colourful and it was beautiful. She told us lots of interesting facts about hedgehogs and we shared stories about what we knew.

The triathlon was terrific

We had a fabulous time at the triathlon.  We showed great teamwork and everyone tried their best!!! There were heaps of smiles and it was exciting doing a school sports event for the first time!
