Teach Me Tuesday

Every Tuesday Mrs Kearns hands over her teaching wand and someone teaches us something amazing. We are learning so much!

 Indie taught us to make a Lego playground. We loved the lights and the tiny piano. 

Levi taught us all to play Tiddlewinks- it was hard!

Connor is a Marvel Avengers expert and brought in his awesome collection. 

Monique taught us some science and we made balloon rockets. One went as high as the Junior Learning Center.

Disco Fever

We had an amazing time hitting the dance floor... with some rocking tunes, flashing lights and some smooth moves... lots of us had an awesome time at the disco!

Audience Readers

Connor did a marvellous job reading his book from the library. We loved it so much Mrs Kearns found a copy of it in the book room. Great job Connor!

Indie read her favourite story from her reading books. We were impressed how smooth her reading sounded.

Reading Stars

Connor and Levi worked so hard during reading time today. The were able to match up all the lower  case letters with their capital letter. We were so proud at how hard they persisted with the activity. Ka pai!

Sea Week Extravaganza- The Parade

This week was Sea Week. We ended the week with an amazing dress up day and a parade.  We had scary sharks, mermaids and even the whole ocean. We kept losing Mitchell as he was always camouflaged!  We danced in a parade showing everyone how amazing we looked. It was heaps of fun!

Super Kids!

Everyone in Room 2 gets to be the Super Kid. They are the leader for the day! They are Mrs Kearns' number one helper. They call the roll in the morning, take the milk list to the office, lead our brain gym and our lines when we walk around the school.  A huge thanks to one of our teacher aide's Karen who made our Super kid chair really flash and made us an awesome cape!  We really are Super Kids!

Heads Start fun!

We have started our Head Start programne. We are learning to take turns,  share, use our imaginations and most of all gave fun!
